Synopsis
An event organised especially for small and medium-sized enterprises who are members of the Ottawa Manufacturing Network and who are members of the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation. Given the majority of Canadian companies participating in this event are SME companies with business linked to the information, communications and technology sector, the lunch seminar, delivered by Ms. Elizabeth Thomson, President, ICS TRUST (ASIA) LIMITED, focuses on strategies for selling to and sourcing from China via Hong Kong, and the types of services available to assist them in entering the China market. Ms. Thomson also share some of the practical issues and challenges that companies encounter when establishing business ventures in China, and how correct corporate structuring and due diligence can overcome many of such problems.
